Training in the discipline of Radiation Oncology includes being fully versed in the use of chemotherapy, biologicals, endocrine therapy as well as various modalities of radiation to treat malignancies. In addition, much emphasis is also placed on the psycho-social aspects of patient care and palliative interventions.
